October 21st 2005 was the day 'The Energise Healthy Living Centre' was officially opened by the Rt. Hon. Hazel Blears. It had been 4 years of hard work by the MaST LIFT Partnership having reached fruition with the opening of the first MaST LIFT Centre.

The significance of this achievement was not lost on Hazel Blears who has been a champion for new Primary Care facilities in Salford.

The Centre offers a traditional family Doctors Surgery and Pharmacy, unlike any other clinic it will also provide holistic treatments like Reiki Healing, Massage and Art classes to help sufferers of depression.

The Centre will also offer information on housing, employment and training as part of its wider health package.
